Youth Engagement Program (YEP)

YEP is designed to be an interactive and informative after school learning program about policing.

Learn and discover:

  • Recruiting and Training Unit
  • Forensic Identification Unit
  • Traffic Services Unit
  • Tactical Response Unit
  • Drug Unit

And many more!

Who?

Guelph students in grades 10 to 12+.

Where?

Clair Road Emergency Services Centre at 160 Clair Rd. W.

When?

Every Tuesday night from 6:30pm to 9:00pm, September 17th – December 4th

Youth In Policing Initiative (YIPI)

The YIPI program gives students a chance to have a full-time position working with the Guelph Police Service. This program offers competitive wages and great networking opportunities.

Reasons to consider the YIPI:

  • You will gain exposure to the career of policing and have the opportunity to interact with many different sectors of the police service
  • You will strongly contribute to the work environment through diverse, educational and meaningful work assignments
  • You will be CPR and First Aid certified
  • You will further develop your leadership skills
