Youth Engagement Program
We are not currently accepting applications for the Youth Engagement Program. All successful applicants have been notified.
The Youth Engagement Program is designed to be an interactive and informative after school learning program about policing.
Learn and discover:
- Recruiting and Training Unit
- Forensic Identification Unit
- Traffic Services Unit
- Tactical Response Unit
- Drug Unit
- Canine Unit
And many more!
Who?
Guelph students in grades 10 to 12+.
Where?
Guelph Police Services Headquarters at 15 Wyndham St. S.
When?
Every Tuesday night from 6:30pm to 9:00pm, starting December 6th

Youth In Policing Initiative (YIPI)
Currently Accepting Applications for Summer 2023 - Applications due Friday, April 28th, 2023 at 4 pm
Reasons to consider the YIPI:
- You will gain exposure to the career of policing and have the opportunity to interact with many different sectors of the police service
- You will strongly contribute to the work environment through diverse, educational and meaningful work assignments
- You will get CPR and First Aid certified
- You will further develop your leadership skills
