Theft From Business

On the afternoon of August 3rd, 2019, approximately $2,500 worth of merchandise was stolen from a business on the north end of the city. The Guelph Police Service is looking for public assistance in identifying the female in the following pictures. Police would like to speak to her in relation to the theft.

Police Arrest Male During Break And Enter In Progress

On the morning of August 11th, 2019, police received information about a break and enter in progress at a closed business on the west end of the city. Multiple officers quickly attended the scene and located a male inside the business, who was subsequently arrested. A search incident to arrest revealed he was in possession of a folding knife and break and enter tools. Further investigation revealed that the male also broke into two mechanical rooms and another business in the same plaza.

A 33-year-old Guelph male has been charged with:

  • Break, Enter, with Intent
  • Break, Enter and Commit Theft x3
  • Breach Probation x2
  • Possess Break in Instruments

He will appear in court on August 12th, 2019. 

Break, Enter And Theft From Storage Unit

Sometime over the last week, a storage unit and a trailer box located at the Barber Scout Camp were entered. The locks and locking mechanisms were damaged and ratchet straps were taken.
