Update Regarding Female Stabbed In Downtown Guelph

On November 25th, 2019, at 9:20pm, members of the Guelph Police Service responded to an altercation in the downtown core of the City of Guelph.  Upon arrival, a 29 year old female was found suffering from a stab wound.  The female was transported to Guelph General Hospital with serious but non-life threating injuries.

Early on the morning of November 30th, 2019, officers located the suspect in the downtown core of the City of the Guelph. She was subsequently arrested.

A 23 year old Guelph female has been charged with:
-Aggravated Assault
-Assault with a weapon
-Weapons Dangerous
-Breach Probation x2

She was held in custody for a bail hearing taking place later in the day, where she was released on a Recognizance of bail with several conditions.

On the evening of December 1st, 2019, police observed her at an apartment building in the downtown core of the City of Guelph that she was prohibited from attending. She was again arrested and charged with Breach Recognizance.

Theft From Vehicle

Some time between 9pm on November 30th and 9am on December 1st, 2019, a vehicle parked at a residence near the intersection of Elizabeth Street and Stevenson Street South in the City of Guelph was entered. The vehicle was completely rummaged through with numerous items taken including an emergency roadside kit with jumper cables and two winter coats.
