Pickup driver sought in hit and run
The Guelph Police Service is seeking the public’s help in identifying a vehicle as we continue to investigate a hit and run collision involving a pedestrian a week ago.
Approximately 5:09 p.m. November 22, emergency services were called to the intersection of Goodwin Drive and Hodgson Drive. A black pickup truck had turned from Hodgson Drive onto Goodwin Dr and struck a 49-year-old female pedestrian. The driver then fled the scene eastbound on Goodwin Drive. The pedestrian sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.
The truck was described as a black Ford F250 Super Duty which had several scrap items in the bed, including a dishwasher or washing machine.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or recognizes the vehicle in the attached photos is asked to contact Constable Andrew Hildebrandt of the Guelph Police Service Traffic Unit at ahildebrandt@guelphpolice.ca.
