Civilian Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in the Guelph Police Service. We are currently accepting applications for the following position:

PowerCase Specialist

Put your accuracy, organization and technical skills to work in a role that makes a real difference.

As part of the team supporting the Special Victims and Major Crimes Units, the PowerCase Specialist will help manage the information behind complex investigations - from transcribing interviews and 911 calls to organizing tips, researching and cross-referencing records, maintaining sensitive case information in PowerCase and preparing complete files for disclosure and court.

The successful candidate will need strong attention to detail, sound judgment, excellent communication and computer skills, and the ability to manage large volumes of confidential information in a fast-paced environment. By turning complex information into clear, reliable and court-ready case files, the PowerCase Specialist will help investigators connect critical details, move investigations forward and contribute directly to community safety and justice.
