Special Duty Officers
To book officers from the Guelph Police Service for special duties, you will have to submit an application. Before proceeding, consider the following terms:
- Events must be within the City of Guelph.
- A 3-hour minimum charge per officer and administrative fee, applies for all events.
- Special Duty request is to be submitted one week prior to event.
- If you cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged the minimum three-hour rate
- The number of officers required for Special Duty will be assessed by Special Duty Coordinator.
- If you make an application less than five days from the date, there will be a one hundred dollar ($150.00) administrative fee added to those normally charged.
- Special Duty Requests will only be processed MON-FRI 8 a.m. to 4 p.m..
- Special Duties will only be offered to officers once the invoice is paid in full.
