Book a Practice Shuttle Run
This is an opportunity to practice the Leger 20m Shuttle Run (also known as the "Beep Test"); the fitness test used to determine suitability for the Police Constable position. Use this practice session to ensure you are ready to apply to the Guelph Police Service and be your competitive best.

When applying to the Guelph Police Service, if invited into the process this test is the first stage of the process. The applicant will perform the Leger 20m Shuttle Run (also known as the "Beep Test") and must achieve a level 7.0 to pass.

This Shuttle Run is also the second part of the PREP (Physical Readiness Evaluation for Police) that police recruit constables undergo at the Ontario Police College. Successful completion of the PREP at the Ontario Police College is a requirement to achieve the Basic Constable Training Certificate that allows recruits to become Sworn Police Officers in Ontario.

Recruiters may be on site and available to speak with during your practice session.
