Indecent act in city park
The Guelph Police Service is investigating after an indecent act Tuesday morning in a city park.
At 11:40 a.m. a woman called to report she had been walking through Bullfrog Pond Park near Eramosa Road and Stevenson Street North when a man exposed and touched himself. Officers checked the park but were not able to locate him.
The man was described as white, approximately 50 with a small build and possibly wearing all black including a backpack.

Arrest after woman chased by stranger
A Guelph man faces assault and threatening charges after a woman was chased by a stranger wielding a metal pole.
Just before 10 a.m. Monday a woman was walking in the area of Woolwich Street and Marilyn Drive when she noticed a man banging a metal pole against a building. The man saw her and began walking towards her while yelling threats and raising the pole over his head.
Bystanders intervened and got the victim to safety.
A 41-year-old Guelph man is charged with assault with a weapon, uttering threats and two counts of breaching probation orders. He was held in custody and will next appear in court Friday. (Occurrence number GU26053281)
Cyclist injured, driver assaulted by witness
Two men face charges after a cyclist was struck by a vehicle and the driver of the car was assaulted by a passerby Tuesday night.
Approximately 10:40 p.m. emergency services responded to a collision at Gordon Street and McGilvray Street. The 38-year-old cyclist was transported to hospital for treatment of a leg injury.
While on scene, officers learned the driver of the car had been punched twice in the face by a passerby and observed significant swelling to his lip and cheek area. The driver said he would seek medical attention later.
A 67-year-old Guelph man is charged with making an illegal turn. A 29-year-old Georgetown man is charged with assault. (Occurrence number GU26053760)
Witnesses sought after hit and run
The Guelph Police Service is looking for witnesses or dashcam video after a hit and run Tuesday.
The collision occurred approximately 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of Victoria Road North and Eramosa Road.
Officers are looking to identify a white transport truck carrying construction equipment on its trailer, that was southbound on Victoria Road and turned left onto Eramosa Road. The truck struck a vehicle during the turn and failed to stop.
