More charges laid in luring investigation
Additional charges have been laid against a Grand Valley man arrested earlier this year after he engaged an undercover officer in sexually-explicit conversations.
In May the 60-year-old was arrested on two counts of luring a child after several online conversations with the officer, who was posing as a 13-year-old girl. During the conversations the man requested nude photos and suggested meeting at a hotel.
The man was arrested May 6 and several devices were seized for further investigation. As a result of that ongoing investigation the man was arrested again Wednesday for another count of luring, possessing and distributing child sexual abuse and exploitation material and making sexually explicit material available to a child under 16.
He was previously held for a bail hearing and released. His next court date is July 24. (Occurrence number GU26019746)

Dangerous driving charges in neighbour disputes
A Guelph woman faces two counts of dangerous driving related to neighbour disputes at an east-end complex.
Approximately 2:50 p.m. police were called to an address near York Road and Cityview Drive South. Witnesses reported a resident had reversed her SUV quickly in the parking lot, almost striking a visitor’s vehicle while yelling at her. She then drove the vehicle aggressively toward the other vehicle while still yelling.
While officers were on scene they were approached by another resident, who shared a video of the subject intentionally driving her vehicle into his path earlier this year causing him to take evasive action and drive onto the shoulder to get around her.
A 61-year-old Guelph woman is charged with two counts of dangerous driving. She will appear in court October 9. (Occurrence number GU26046567)

Approximately 6 p.m. a Guelph man reported he had parked his grey 2015 Mazda 3 near the Cenotaph while he was at work. When he finished work he realized his keys were missing, but was able to track them through an air tag to the area of Woolwich Street and Eramosa Road.
The complainant spoke to man seated on a bench, who claimed he had found the keys on the ground and gave them back. He denied knowledge of the stolen vehicle.
