Decorative plants stolen

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after receiving a report of a theft from a south-end business where a large amount of product was stolen.

It was reported that the owner of the business arrived Thursday at 8:30AM to begin preparing the business for the coming day, when a female was located on the property. The female had a large pile of potted plants loaded onto a cart. The female advised she planned to purchase the products, leaving the business to go get cash.

The caller advised that upon the female leaving they located multiple pots and plants arranged throughout the property in what appeared to be complementary displays.

It was later found that approximately $2,000-$5,000 in products had been taken from the business.

The female that was located on scene is described as mid 60’s with brown hair, white and wearing a puffy black Spyder jacket, blue jeans and running shoes.

$9k in tools stolen

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after receiving a report that approximately $9,000 in tools were stolen from an East-end residence.

Over the evening of July 23rd, it was reported that the complainant had multiple toolboxes in the bed of their truck, which were removed and rummaged through, resulting in a large amount of Dewalt and Hilti tools being taken and damage to the truck from the removal of the toolboxes.
