The Guelph Police Association is proud to announce it has donated the proceeds from the 43rd Annual Norma Owen Memorial Golf Tournament, held September 3, 2025, at the Guelph Lakes Golf and Country Club.

The sold-out event raised a record-breaking $34,859.07 in support of Hospice Wellington. These funds will help sustain Hospice Wellington’s end-of-life care services and provide vital support programs for families across Wellington County.

The Guelph Police Association extends its sincere thanks to all golfers, volunteers, sponsors, local businesses, community members, and the Guelph Lakes Golf and Country Club for contributing to the event’s success.

The tournament is held in memory of Constable Norma Owen, a member of the Guelph Police Service who passed away from cancer in 1983. Since its inception, the tournament has raised funds for cancer-related charities within the community. To date, the Guelph Police Association has donated a total of $567,924 through this event.

The Guelph Police Association represents 248 sworn officers and 124 civilian members of the Guelph Police Service. The Association advocates for fair treatment, safe and healthy working conditions, and contributes to the community through extensive volunteer efforts supporting a wide range of local initiatives.
