Motorcyclist sought after fleeing

The Guelph Police Service is attempting to identify a motorcyclist who fled a traffic stop last week.

Shortly before 2 p.m. Friday a member of the Guelph Police Service Traffic Unit was patrolling near Kortright Road West and Edinburgh Road South when he observed a blue motorcycle being driven dangerously and speeding. The officer followed the motorcycle and attempted to pull it over, however the operator fled and was last seen on College Avenue West towards the Hanlon Expressway.

The motorcycle is believed to be an older-model Suzuki GSX-R.
