Police investigating altercation near high school
The Guelph Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance as we continue to investigate an altercation last week which left two high school students injured.
Approximately 12:15 p.m. December 12 police were called for a disturbance in the area of College Avenue West and Vanier Drive. Investigation revealed a male youth had arrived wearing a ski mask and brandishing a knife, before discarding the knife and getting into a consensual fight with another youth.
As a result of the altercation two boys, aged 16 and 17, sought medical attention for minor injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
