Retired Police Service Dog Titan passes away
We are saddened to announce retired Police Service Dog Titan has passed away.
Titan, a seven-year-old German shepherd, passed away Saturday. He served the community from August 2020 until his retirement late last year. Titan and his partner, Constable Neil Moulton, handled hundreds of canine calls for service during their time together.
Titan was a General Service Dog, which means he was certified in tracking, building searches, area searches, article searches, agility, obedience, as well as apprehension. Titan was also certified in the detection of narcotics, firearms and evidence.
During his career, Titan located dozens of suspects and missing persons. Titan's contributions helped keep our members and residents safe, and his legacy will not be forgotten.
We would like to thank PSD Titan for his dedicated and loyal service to the community. He will be missed and remembered by the many whose lives he enriched.
