Guelph man faces charges after dispute with neighbours
A Guelph man is facing several charges after police were called for a neighbourhood dispute. It was reported that a neighbour was yelling insults and that he committed an indecent act from his residence at other neighbours. The male was arrested and held for bail for the charges of failing to comply with a release order, criminal harassment, indecent act and mischief. (Occurrence number GU26034983)
Three men arrested in connection to report of stolen vehicle
Guelph Police Service received a call that a vehicle reported stolen earlier that day in Mississauga was showing on a manufacturer’s tracking app to be located in Guelph. Officers located the vehicle outside a business on Stone Road with the engine running and a driver inside the vehicle. Officers attempted to block the vehicle which then drove into the police vehicles.
Three individuals believed to be with the driver of the stolen vehicle exited a business a few minutes later and were detained for questioning. The individuals were subsequently arrested on charges including possession of stolen property, possession of a weapon, breach of probation and obstructing police. (Occurrence number GU26035486)
Vehicle stolen from south Guelph apartment
Guelph Police Service received a report Friday morning from a resident that their vehicle had been stolen from the parking lot of their apartment building overnight. The theft is believed to have taken place between 1:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. on May 29. The vehicle is a newer model black soft-top Jeep.
