Two E-bikes stolen
The Guelph Police Service is investigating after receiving a report of two e-bikes being stolen from an east end garage.
It was reported that on Monday morning two individuals entered an apartment complex with a crowbar, removing a safe lockbox which contained a building master key. CCTV footage showed what is believed to be two males enter the garage area of the building, with the master key taken from the lockbox and take two e-bikes from the garage at approximately 4:30 a.m.
The stolen e-bikes are described as a black Taubik TaurusĀ S E-Bike and a Grey Costco E-bike. Two vehicles impounded for stunt driving
On Monday the Guelph Police charged and impounded the vehicles of two drivers in separate incidents for stunt driving.
The first driver was observed driving at a high rate of speed on Maltby Road at approximately 12:40 p.m. The driver was found to be traveling 40km/hr over in the posted 60km/hr zone.
The second driver was observed driving at a high rate of speed on Stone Road East, at approximately 3:10 p.m. The driver was found to be traveling 40km/hr over in the posted 40km/hr zone.
Both drivers faced a mandatory 30-day license suspension and 14-day vehicle impound along with future court dates for the stunt driving offences. A stunt driving conviction will attract a minimum licence suspension of one year, a minimum fine of $2,000 and six demerit points.
