Man arrested in connection to multiple thefts
A 24-year-old Guelph man is facing charges in connection to several incidents dating back to March 2026. Police believe he is involved the theft of bicycles from backyard sheds on three separate occasions. The man was arrested Thursday, charges include break and enter, mischief, arson, breach of probation, possession of stolen property and possession of break in instruments.

Man wanted in connection to robbery
Police are looking for a man in connection to an incident at a south Guelph grocery store. Guelph Police Service received a call from the store manager who reported that a customer had been threatened by the individual to pay for his groceries. The manager also indicated the male had been asked to leave the store on other occasions for approaching customers. The male is described as black, wearing dark grey clothing and is often carrying white plastic bags.
