Fire at business

Shortly before 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Guelph Police Service responded, along with the Guelph Fire Department and Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Service, to a fire at a business on Silvercreek Parkway. There were no injuries and no one was inside the business when first responders arrived. The investigation is ongoing. (Occurrence number GU26014323)

Police investigating break and enter

Guelph Police Service is investigating a break and enter at a residential unit in the area of Woodlawn Road and Woolwich Street. The incident took place on Wednesday morning around 11 a.m. There appears to be five suspects involved, one male and four females. The suspects were seen leaving the scene travelling westbound on Woodlawn Road in a white Dodge Caravan shortly after 11 a.m.
