Theft from Woodlawn Road Store

Guelph Police Service is investigating after a theft from a store on Woodlawn Road West Wednesday afternoon. The incident took place at approximately 1 p.m. when the male left the store with a pack of coolers before fleeing on a bicycle behind the cemetery. The subject is described as white, approximately 5’9” and was wearing black clothing. Restaurant employee spat on

A restaurant owner contacted Guelph Police Service after an employee was assaulted at work. The employee was working at the drive through window when a male, who was not purchasing anything, asked for a quantity of empty cups for free. The employee advised they were not permitted to provide free cups under restaurant policy, at which point the male became belligerent. He began calling the employee names and then spat on them before driving away. The male is described as black, with long dreadlocks with blond tips, driving a grey subcompact crossover SUV. The restaurant is located in the area of Silvercreek Parkway North and Speedvale Avenue West. E-bike theft from Guelph park

An Etobicoke resident contacted Guelph Police Service to report that their e-bike had been stolen at Riverside Park Tuesday around noon. The individual had parked their e-bike and entered the washroom facility at the park. When they returned, their e-bike with all contents had been stolen. The e-bike is described as metallic blue with a rear flat carrier and saddlebag.

Police would like to remind the public to secure bikes, scooters and other personal property when able. (Occurrence number GU26034440)
