Person fatally struck by train

Shortly after 3 p.m. on April 21, a person was fatally struck by a train near the Guelph Central GO Station. Emergency services responded and the individual was confirmed deceased a short time later.

At this time, no further details about the victim are being released until officers are able to notify their family.
