Police investigating after hit and run Saturday morning

On Saturday, June 13 at approximately 10 a.m., Guelph Police Service responded for a hit and run in the intersection of Suffolk Street East and Woolwich Street. A vehicle rear-ended a pickup truck and fled the scene. The vehicle is described as a grey SUV with front end damage. Witnesses told police the driver was alone in the vehicle and described him as a male in his 30s with brown skin, black beard, wearing a coloured turban and blue gloves.

The occupant of the pickup truck is currently being assessed. Police remain on scene for the investigation. Anyone who may have information or video footage of the collision is asked to call 519-824-1212. (Occurrence number GU26038799)
